Communication Input

Our communication input therapy can be delivered in person at your home or over video link, though we do advise that thorough initial assessments work best when face-to-face.

If you are receiving support from a multidisciplinary team, we are very happy to work with them to help coordinate all of intervention you may be having.

How We Assess

For our initial assessments, we use both informal and standardised tools to establish your baseline abilities, in order to create individualised, functional intervention that is tailored to your communication needs.

How We Plan

Together, we produce goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timed (SMART), before agreeing on a plan that may entail impairment-based therapy and/or practice using various support strategies, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

How We Progress

As we carry out the planned intervention, we monitor the outcomes through various methods, including Therapy Outcome Measures (TOM), adjusting our approach as required and ensuring that we stay on track to achieve the milestones that are important to you.
